Owner, Colorist + Curl Specialist

I’m Alex, a local and independent hair stylist who started my professional path doing hair over a decade ago! From a young age, I took interest in constantly changing my own hair. In my teen years, I progressed to doing my friend’s hair in my bathroom (while it was always fine in the end, I DO NOT recommend). Soon, it became clear that this hobby was turning into a passion! Once licensed, I experienced working in chain and independent salons before deciding to take some time to be home with my three kids. Over time, I was reminded how much I loved and missed working with people and expressing my creativity through hair. In April 2021 I took the leap and started AH Hair. I am loving every moment behind the chair and am so excited to grow as a person, stylist and small business owner with my clients by my side. Since being back I have expanded my training with color, curls and extensions.
